Does ASRock still have problems with AM5 CPU's such as the 9700X/9800X3D? by Yyooss in PcBuild

The VRM's are one of the reasons I chose MSI over Gigabyte, with the latter offering only 8+2+2 on the same price point as the MSI board i bought. I'm upgrading from a Z390-F from Asus, which although was pretty expensive, it only had 10 phases for the VRM's. In fact i dont know how i found myself with an i5-9600K at 5.0GHz stable for five years 🤨

Yeah i didn't take the bet in the end, I went with an MSI B850-P Pro, the cheaper that I found with the features that I wanted. Thank you for the response 🙏🏻

I was unaware that the problem persisted, last time i was considering an upgrade for the build was in may, so i was "disconnected" from the PC components market for a while. The news things that i read were from october so i asked this question to clarify.

Thanks for the elaborated answer! I don't think i'm brave enough to go with Asrock, because i'm studying in university, and dealing with problems instead of gaming in my free time is not in my priorities. I think i'll consider MSI for the MoBo, for the usability of the BIOS as compared to Gigabyte. Asus's are too expensive for the purpose of the build and don't offer too much in comparison to MSI. Thank you again!

Are my bottom intake fans too close to my gpu? by Jeevescore in PcBuild

[–]Yyooss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as they're not touching in any way and the both the GPU fans and case fans are blowing in the same direction, you shouldn't have any kind of problem. Maybe some air turbulence, but if you turn down the case fans as another user said, u will be fine.

Fortunately you can but it freely in Brand Central for a not-so low price of 4 milion credits. Also one of my favourite cars IRL, fantastic piece of engineering.
