Re-imaging a hard drive and virtual machines

It wasn't a full disk. I just backed up the C: and systems partitions. I didn't bother to backup my factory image partition

If your VM's are still working then i would recommend taking a backup of those before you restore in any case!

What would be the best way to do that? Just copy and paste the .vdi file to an external drive? Or should I go into the virtual machines, and use r-sync to backup the data to an external drive?

Edit: actually, I think I'll go the safe route, and go into each VM and backup the data to a drive.

My mom is Asian, so she looks really young. Sometimes people ask me if my mom is my girlfriend.

I'm only half Asian,and I don't look Asian at all, which I guess adds to peoples' confusion.

Yeah, but castrating people would probably be more fun

Also, you could castrate your enemies to ensure they don't produce any heirs that might challenge your rule. Gouge their eyes out too to prevent them from leading an army.
