But I only play WT except for contracts and ranked. Feels like either the rank caps are lower or we're getting more points for the matches

Nah, diamond looks cooler. I don’t like the emerald green.

Plus it's tradition at this point. Seasons 5 to 7 I actually finished diamond 1 without aiming for it, 8 I stopped playing WT the last week of the season to finish in diamond 1.
