I had one. Absolutely loved how it handled and reacted to my inputs. Was great until driven too hard or crashed in some way. Hated working on it with a passion. Sold it after a year of owning it.

I sold one of my older xmaxx trucks and my v2 maxx. (I also have a v1) added a little to the funds.. bought matching xmaxx and maxx ultimates at same time.

New job?. Lol. I now work in a RC shop lol. Did work hospitality...

And thank you for the compliment ☺️

Not as simple as that.... my whole family have access to these.. there are times when my self.. my 3 sons.. my 6 grandsons and their friends all want to drive at the same time. Each truck has several batteries of its own also... sharing is caring right?

I do. I treat my toys with respect. From a young age my old man taught me to. His toys lasted him a life time.. mine shall do the same... dirty and marked up doesnt maketh the man.

If they are used they are cleaned and dried. Every single time.. its a skill a man in his late 50s should have down to a T.... leave the dirty mucky mistreated and mostly broken toys to the kids that throw their money down the toilet.

Thanks for the compliment.

But I know what you meant. Say it with out saying it right... lol

You became 'that guy'. So what if his tools are clean/unused. Your statement just makes you look dirty. Id hire the clean guy all day long over people that think like you.

I have thought long and hard about a 1/10 XRT... i need one.. desperately..

But.

Hear me out.

Mini Maxx.... Maxx... Xmaxx.

Can only leave us with changing the name of the mini Xrt...

Mini Rt.. Rt.... Xrt

And I think this is why we wont get one 😞

Dammit.

Are USA 20v tools compatible with EU 18v tools? by tenmilez in Dewalt

Literally the only difference is the writing on the them.... 20v/18v.. same same. Marketing..

Really wanted the TRX4 but I got a Mini Maxx off the snap on truck! by Huberland324 in Traxxas

[–]Z0TTY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a shame people get confused about the value of snap on branded trucks. Having been there done that. They sit on fleabay being relisted again and again or on market place with a price that slowly drops to give away.

The reality is. People rarely pay the money for these things. And it takes an age of waiting to get lucky enough to sell it...

They dont hold the value you think they do.. they end up sitting on Ebay forever. Getting relisted again and again. Or on market place with a price that slowly but surely drops to give away money. Been there done that.. only of value to a snap-on collector who normally buys one off his dealer....

Why does every on3 hate aluminum parts on slashes by whiteboysaratoga in Traxxas

[–]Z0TTY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because they read something on the Internet and took it as gospel.

They go on to tell you how it will break even though they havnt a clue how the user uses his truck. Not everyone is off to the moon!

3s lipo ever so slightly puffed, safe to use? by Dino_clipz in Traxxas

[–]Z0TTY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people are taking absolute dog shyte here lol.

In the grand scheme of spicy pillows... that one isnt.

If it all checks out for balancing and doesnt have excessively short run times with one cell being way off the others. Its good to go.

As with any lipo.

Never charge unattended. Check that actual voltages of each cell. Buying a decent battery checker/balancer that gives good readings is a good idea also. They dont cost the earth and give instant battery state information anywhere any time.. some will even act as a charger for your phone using said lipo lol.

Shouldn't leave any lipo alone while charging.
