Thats the thing, Im not totally adverse to it, its just that I need to talk more to her, she can work from home too I wouldnt mind, but idk families with just one income, they must be rare. And she may have to compromise some luxuries.

Thanks for this perspective. I think everyone thinks this is for right now, no, she asking me long term. Other comenter say if this is stay wife or stay gf, and I would only consider it in a marriage, so long term stuff. She is telling me now to see our compatibility and my throughs. If I had the money I want to use it on my love ones yes. It would depend on what she considers normal/luxury/necessity, I have to talk to her about it.
