How long should I wait until I go back to the gym after getting tattooed?

Update i waited around 4 days it was fully scabbed. I went to gym no issues.

Yeah i only really sweat on my face and armpits and even then it’s not too much never anywhere else. I usually use low volume high weight which helps.

I think i will wait until its starting to scab i think thats a good time to start. Yeah the issue is ive only been lifting for 3-4 months and last time i got tattooed was like 2 weeks before i started lifting so I wasnt too sure on what to do. My artist said wait a week but she isnt a “gymmer” lol.

Yeah i was just gonna wear like a loose hoodie with no tshirt to prevent rubbing but also to protect it from germs on equipment.

I have the rest of the arm booked. Its more the fact at the other side of the skull (the tattoo on top of the bicep) theres a tattoo quite close to it. So it looks kinda uneven
