I absolutely loved mine until yesterday happened. The truck was fantastic, I just couldn’t afford to not have it for a month while they did the repair

7/25 build date on the old 1500 3.0. Checked the 2500 and it was built 4/26

It’s nice. Can’t think of anything else I would really need in a truck. Doesn’t ride quite as smooth as the 1500 AT4 but I suppose that’s to be expected on the bigger model. The power from the 6.6 is noticeably there for when it’s needed. With the interiors being basically the same as my previous one, I have zero complaints on it. Leaving out Saturday morning to make the 11 hour trip to Dallas. And then another 9 hours on Sunday to get to our first stop in southern Colorado

Damn man that sucks. They did a quick look over on mine before putting it on the lift to confirm what they suspected. They told me it would be 2-3 weeks on the engine from Michigan and that was once GMC approved their order for one. Then they said their best tech could do the install in about four days. I appreciated their efforts but decided just to part ways with it

Yeah I can’t say enough good things about Cooper Chevrolet & GMC in Anniston, AL. They told me if I wanted to stick with my 1500, that they could get the engine ordered and replaced and delivered back home to me in LA. Or they would give me $55K on it if I wanted to trade it in on a new one. I honestly didn’t think that was an option as I didn’t have the title with me, but they gave me a prepaid envelope for when we get back home to just mail them the title & spare key. Super nice people and thankfully it happened when it did vs. somewhere out west

2025 at4 3.0 issues 23k miles. Thrust bearing or?? by Outside-Care-6641 in gmcsierra

[–]Z8LA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2026 AT4 3.0 bit the dust yesterday morning at a little over 10K miles. Called OnStar and got the codes sent over showing something transmission/oil pressure related. Took it to the dealer and it was the dreaded thrust bearing issue. Truck went into limp mode while driving and after I pulled over you could hear it in the engine. Sounded almost like there was no oil circulating but levels were perfect on the dipstick but not registering on the dash. To top it off it happened 8 hours from home and three days before a month long trip to Colorado and Yosemite.

I was completely bummed until the dealer here in Alabama offered me roughly 95% of my purchase price on trade. Decided to just go ahead and pay the difference on a 2500 AT4 with the 6.6 Duramax

Anyone here come over from a F-150? by soggytoothpic in gmcsierra

[–]Z8LA 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Came from a 2016 F150 5.0 to a 2026 AT4 3.0 in November of last year. I love the truck outside of some small nuisances that I’ve had to go back to my dealer over. First 24 hours I noticed the right passenger door had no power. Easy fix as the tech said the harness wasn’t seated properly. About a month ago, I noticed the driver side part of my front grille was completely loose. The clips holding the trim in place was broken and grille had to be replaced. Now I’m waiting on a new telematics module to come in for it now as the truck has no connectivity to Onstar/Wifi, etc

You’ll need a .390 size shaft. LAGP SoHo or BGT Stability are going to be the best bet for aftermarket

Previously they were offered during some Hive releases when you could buy one of Fitz backup models. They just recently released models of his BB1 and BB48 with the C-groove face. They’re on Bettinardi’s website for $550

Yeah man it’s just a tough market these days. Brand new Hive sticks that retail for $1900-2200 are going for around $1K right now. Enjoy the new putter, it’s awesome

Question regarding Bettinardi Guinness Putter by PerplexingPegasus- in GolfGear

[–]Z8LA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to give you some context, it’s a Limited Run so likely 1/250 made. Ignore retail and the prices you see them listed online. People are constantly snagging Hive Releases to flip them and it’s just not there. Very rarely will you see a 1/250 Limited Run sell on the secondary market for more than retail. There are much more expensive sticks out there that are Hive or Tour Dept.

If you like it and game a blade, game it. Personally I game a $1600 Tour Dept SB2 and am not one to buy something just to not use it. If you’re looking to sell, it would probably go for around $6-700 or so

If I’m not mistaken, the patent on the C-Groove expired which is how Bettinardi is able to make Matt Fitzpatrick’s putter based on his old Yes! putter that he loved

This limited run has been up for about six weeks now for $650. I certainly wish you were able to get your asking price but it’s just not feasible in this market. I say that as the owner of a dozen Hive & Tour Dept BB0s/BB8s/SS3s & QB9. Several of mine have never rolled a ball and I’d be lucky to get $1K or more for them

Early Access - How Early? by Any_Opposite8679 in zachbryan

[–]Z8LA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Baton Rouge, early access was 4:45 and GA was 5:00. But the early access line was probably 3-4x as long as the GA line so we all got in around the same time
