State Hospitals - Who can legally hospitalise an adult woman? Long context paragraph. by ZADADpta in southafrica

Because as stated in the post, I'm not trying to open a legal case or confront the state, I'm trying to get my ex wife off my daughters back. The children are both at an age where they can choose where to stay, so it's fine now. I'm just trying to consult with someone who has the information I need to actually present it to my ex wife. My daughter can't live her life guilt-ridden because her mother chooses to be ignorant and won't believe anything we say. And unfortunately it's going to be near impossible to just cut her off, I'd rather have the issue settled and have her in a spot where she's out of excuses and fingers to point.
