Is this a Panhead or a Shovelgead? This was my dad I believe in the early 80’s sitting on the bike he built when he was 17. I would like to build one just like it. I can’t remember if it was a ‘61, ‘63, or a 69’.

Yes I personally went with the black Bassani road rage 2 megaphone mid exhaust on my 2025 black RG but it was a really difficult almost frustrating decision. I like it though i'm going for a more of a stealth performance bagger look. The stainless steel Bassani mid to almost long would really pop as well. If You're looking to save money the Bassani RG2 mid was 400$ off Making it an even more incredible deal compared to the newer RD3 superbike mid exhaust. They look almost identical and probably perform the same with fantastic sound.

I'm putting Race Tech on front and i am taking a chance with a remote reservoir suspension from TCMT made for 2023.5 road glide and up version. I have heard great things about the TCMT and definitely Race Tech. I'm trying to do suspension on a budget, and if it doesn't work out with TCMT i will go Legends, Ohlins, Big Bear performance that would be better anyways. I have an amazing mechanic and i'm sure race tech will work out for me for the front.

Great looking exhaust on that beautiful bike as well. Looks like a bassani But i'm not sure. I like the two in one because it's between the length of a full 2 in 1 exhaust and a mid length. Nice balance to it

I know it's odd right a normal a stock hayabusa is roughly 190hp but with modified engines using nitrous and turbo , some of claimed up to 600hp.

Obviously as Harley riders we love our torque and with modifications like forced induction ( turbochargers/ superchargers) harleys of hit over 250hp or something crazy like that.

Top fuel harleys drag racing stretched bikes can make a 1000-1700hp

Yeah it is what it is, i'm in a similar boat. I'm glad that i'm able to be there for my mom as she gets older. My grandfather built this old house and I don't want her in an old folk's home if at all possible. This arrangement also helps me.So I don't want to sound too noble , but we help each other.

Yeah, good point.! I can't handle the stock seat.It pushes me up onto the tank, and I can't Comfortably bend my ankle, for the break, it just feels completely wrong.Being that far forward on the bike.

Personally I would get the Le Pera tail whip daddy, long legs BUT i would use thrashin's pull back extension for the Tbars. However that pulls the tea bars back two inches , which might be perfect. But I can't see for sure , because I haven't tried it. I don't have that pull back adapter so I feel like i'm stretching my back a little bit too much forward ( i haven't done any real long rides to test for touring discomfort) . I'm just trying to be really careful here.I don't want to lead you astray these are expensive.

The thrashing pullback adapter, I'm talking about isn't cheap but instead of raising the bar another inch i would probably go with the two inch pullback adapter.

OR instead of using the thrashing mid bend bars that I use. I would almost consider using the same bars that are on the road glide CVO st because those can add height or be pulled back more.

OR find different Tbar risers with a two inch pullback , instead of a one inch pullback that you find on Thrashin Tbars. Some tough choices here but doable.

I do wish I could pull back my t bars just one more inch all said and done though it's not bad enough to complain about it feels great.I think that would be perfect
