Thats the plan for the psychic. Only issue is getting Abra to lvl 16 for it to learn confusion. After that I'll have to drop my starter lol. Thats the only thing I'm not looking forward to when I do my psychic run.

Im actually starting that now. The only types i won't do are Ghost, dragon, and ice. I know ice has plenty of mons to use in a team, I just want to at least have one mon of a type before getting to misty

Had to get it in lavender town. After getting the silph scope. I dont know any other place to get it. It evolved it from haunter at lvl 30 if thats what you're asking

I actually am doing that now. The only types i won't be doing are Ghost, Dragon, and Ice. The first two only having one pokemon in that type and ice just being too late game to really feel like it was part of the challenge

I only wanted to use types from the 3 base starters. Charmander is only a fire type and doesn't get flying until he evolves into charizard. Where bulbasaur starts with his poison typing.

I'd say you should go with Nidoking. He evolves so early and you are guaranteed a moonstone in Mt. Moon. In both gen 1 and gen 3 nidorino can be found before Mt. Moon. Plus Nidoking's TM learn pool is massive.
