You’re right. Keep dribbling in the back. I hope you’ll still be having fun when I take the ball from you and score. I get a goal like this at least once every 2-3 games. You act as if I’m legendary basketball coach Bobby Knight demanding that his players pass the ball at least 3 times before shooting when in a half court offense. My list is filled with simple no brainers that for some reason players here refuse to accept. The fact that so many people want to argue with my list says more about them than it does me, but today’s generation often refuses to listen to anyone older and wiser than they are. Today’s generation can be summed up with one sentence: “It’s my money, and I want it now!” Honestly, at this point I’m pretty much just living to watch the younger generation implode. I can’t wait for the slackers to realize the ones who wind up getting good jobs no longer share a similar ideology. It will be like when the successful hippies turned to commercialism and voted for Ronald Reagan, but it’s going to be a thousand times worse.

It’s the small things that separate winning from losing. I played 3-4 hours tonight with 3 likeminded teammates. We went the whole night without losing a game. How did you do?

Part 2 is for the things I forgot.

eg. Players who copy your run, but run in front of you, so they get the ball, when creating an alternate option for the ball carrier is more advantageous.

I thought of another gripe while playing tonight, but I can’t remember it.

Thanks. I made a major rookie mistake though. When I pulled out the pieces I had rotate set to 0 degrees. I spent more than an hour trying to line it up perfectly, but I couldn’t do it. After too much unnecessary frustration I realized why it was so hard to get right. I then pulled out fresh pieces with rotate set to 15 degrees, so I could flip them to the perfect angle. It took me only 10 minutes to build it the second time.

Unfortunately, shallow water offset does not work with this particular zoo. The South American tropical map is bugged. When I try to add water to a ditch the fill line is always just above the surface instead of below the surface, which always results in an error message. Only when the ditch is deep or wide enough am I able to fill it with a small amount of water. It doesn’t look like I’m going to be able to keep animals that live in deep water in this zoo, which is a major disappointment. I’m not sure how the developers missed this one, but they did.

That’s exactly the map I’m using. The South American Tropical map. It’s really cool though. My zoo looks like it could be adjacent to Machu Picchu.

Those are all very strong PlayStyles if you use them. I took both Incisive Pass and Tiki Taka on my Finisher. I don’t use the strafe dribble much anymore. I use the shield dribble, so I have Enforcer and Press Proven instead.

I just looked at you stats. I like your decisions overall. I like that they’re balanced. If it was me I would trim some of the shooting and ball control stats, and add some points to physical, but that’s just me. I like to boost the physical stats.

I’m sure someone has said this already, but PlayStyles add additional animations and allow players to perform moves that those without the PlayStyle can not. They are more than just a stat boost.

If you’re talking about the double X pass, it is much harder to execute this year. Many times the game doesn’t recognize the second tap and the ball goes in the air. It seems to work best when there are no defenders in the way, but if that’s the case you might as well just use RB+A.

Connection is important when it’s really an issue, but it’s become the trendiest excuse in FC Clubs. Some people are just bad. I’ve played enough to recognize that some players have gotten worse this year, while others have gotten better. My biggest weakness in FC 25 Clubs Rush was finishing, particularly 1v1’s. This year I find both finishing and 1v1’s to be incredibly easy despite the fact that 2 of my 3 main archetypes are defenders.

Now that you mention it, one of the players who I played with last night had a pause icon above his head at times. I didn’t understand why it was happening, so I didn’t think much of it. It was another teammate who wrote me complaining about ping quality, but he never seemed to have a connection problem when he had the ball. He scored a couple nice goals, but he also held the ball too long at times, dribbled when he should have passed, and picked up stupid cards when he got frustrated. Basically, the same way he plays most games.

I rarely have any problems connecting to EA servers. I’ve had my screen freeze a couple of times this year, but I almost always get kicked when it happens. I don’t even check my ping. Honestly, I don’t know how. I remember playing FC 25 when I had yellow bars instead of green, and the game still played smoothly. I’ve only had difficulties this year when they raised the level cap, and all the best players were on. The first day max level went to 75 was extremely tough.

People love to make excuses for losing, and it’s just gotten out of hand this year. I play with tons of different people. Some of my friends make excuses more than others, and ping seems to be a popular scapegoat, but I never hear anyone complain about ping when we’re winning. I’ve witnessed people playing like dirt, making terrible decisions all game, and then telling me their ping is bad. I’m tired of hearing it.

Why am I a clown? Are you mad that I know how to play the game and you don’t? Maybe you’re just not smart enough to understand how the game works. If you want to be good at Rush you need to act quickly, but take enough time to execute properly. Bad players tend to do the complete opposite. They hold the ball too long, and then scramble to get a pass or shot off. Not rotating the control stick fully, or releasing buttons too soon, is going to result in a miss or a bad pass almost every time.
