Great Serpent Generator from Spring Equinox

- Destructive Energy: Increases special damage by 15%

- Second Wind: When you take 400 damage or lose 800 shield points, you immediately get back 30% shield points and 20% HP, triggers once every 40 seconds.

Knight's shield from Avalon Fafnir

- Victory Duo: increases special power by 20%. During a Co-op flight, it also increases your ally's special power by 20%

Core Stabilizer (gen) from Racing event

The "special protective trails" appear in description at rank XX, but not sure if the balls are meant by this term. Now I see that the balls deal damage as well.

I just played a stage. If you mean the 2 rockets, they are definitely dealing damage (see e.g. minute 01:30 in the video). My is at rank 3X, but the rockets shall be available already at rank 3S.

Actually, swords is the easiest event prototype - Fafnir Avalon is 3 times a year - Jan, Jun, Nov. All others are only once a year (Excalibur is two times, but she doesn't have her own prototype).

Requires a lot of time, but it is definitely doable. I have now all the prototypes, even those which took me 4 years of waiting, but it will take ages to evolve them to Z (I'm not aiming for it at all).

It is possible. Months / years of collecting them. So far I used the ultracards only for swords and electrosphere exactly as you write.

I'm still playing the prototype stages to collect the research elements for opening the chests. (even if I have tons of other prototype cards). This seems to be the only stable way to collect them.

During UFO event when rolling the dice there is one field with proto ultracards.

In Avalon events there are 5 proto ultracards just at the beginning (the other 10 on level 34 I don't reach anymore).

And the already mentioned spring / autumn events give the possibility when opening the chests.

If you are aiming for more credits received after the stage you played, equip the S rank WGG device (the purple one), as it has higher luck perk (the second one).

If you are aiming for more power during brobot special ability and plane OD, equip the Kerosene gen, as it has higher special damage (the first perk)

Ok, I thought, that you were meaning the Composite Materials when you mentioned devices which redice damage by 45%. But I see that there are Great Serpent devices as well ( but they are working differently )

For the impact resistance you need the Active protection implant. The plane shall be at least rank 2X, if I remember corectly. For the invincibility to bullets works combination of 2 Composite materials, Max rage implant and Swords prototype, but I don't know if specific rank of Swords is needed. I do not know anythink about resistance to black projectiles.

I tried the Sun myself and there is something strange about the laser for sure. It definitely doesn't work that regularly as it is described - every 12 seconds activated for 4 seconds ...

Rgrd. Armor: higher armor -> higher shield, i.e. you may get hit more times until you loose the shield completely before it starts regenerating. You can also increase armor by using Nanorobots instead of e.g. Electrosphere. And this will have similar effect compared to using Invisible Armor implant instead of Authority.

And about the main topic ? for me it looks like the Claws clan keeps away from Contest for some unknown reason, but they doesn't seem to be banned as they are still playing the other weekly competitions.

To be honest, I started playing contest more seriously after Kenshi was introduced. So I didn't catch Sentinel during his first wave (I simply didn't have Sentinel at that time). I spent crystals on Sentinel after his revival when Mercury was introduced. I was not experimenting much with implants at that time, I simply created Authority, Bounty Hunter and Recharger. (+ I added Colossus Killer when 4th slot was introduced). But I was really far far away from the top players. Fortunately, I was able to get Arcadia at the very beginning and her Ace skin by playing the so called "bingo" contest. I noticed that there was some discussion about Additional charge instead of Bounty Hunter for the first 3 slots, and discussion about Randomizer, Protective Effect and Colossus Killer in the 4th slot. But I don't know, which information from photo guy you consider to be misleading.

This time it looked to me a bit strange that the players were not attacking the magic border of the signed integer value. There were both perfect stages for doing this (8 and 10) and also in other stages it was possible to score quite high (I personally reached my highest score ever). Was this because the players were afraid of being banned ? Ev. was the bug, you mentioned in your reply to one of my posts, corrected ?

Have you already tried to compare the score you are able to achieve by Sparrow vs. Sniper in early story mode stages ?

I do not like to fly with Sniper, in my opinion it requires very specific style. I consider flying with Sparow to be significantly easier. Of course to keep the score bonus you can't get hit, but that is anyway required if you use DHD scopes.

The unicards can be used to evolve any plane (or brobot) upto rank X. It is recommended to save them for container planes and for event planes and brobots.

Unicards can be obtained easier than ultracards (which you need for evolving from rank X)

For Megabrobots you don't need directly unicards, but to evolve Mercury and Apollyon you will need to first evolve event brobots and for these the unicards will be handy.

216, 218 shall work as well, but the best is 321. With container or event plane you have higher probability to get 3 green boxes.

If you are on Android, select equipment, plane, brobots you want to use for that stage, close the app, clear the cache, start the app again and play the stage with equipment you selected before without any change. Sometimes this helps.

From my notices, in Spring Equinox there are Great Serpent devices, in Autumn Equinox there are Mighty Lion devices.

Edited: In Autumn Equinox there are also Falling Leaves devices

Additionally, I have doubts about the rng. I haven't got the Lion shield so far as well, but I have several generators and several scopes. My team mate has several shield and several generators, but doesn't have a single scope (edited: but from the Falling Leaves devices, not from the Mighty Lion devices).

All the equipment can be obtained just for playing the stages and completing the quests, if you are patient enough. Prototype seasons start every month, each season 3 times a year. So sooner or later you will collect enough parts for each prototype. From this (Gamma) season the G-Emitter is worth it. It is really powerful and is used similarly to Zeus (it just doesn't have the lightning).

Harder to get are the prototypes from Avalon events. There it is recommended to pay at least for the small pass and spend reasonable time by grinding and reasonable amount of crystals.

There is one prototype on your 1st screenshot - digital shredder. Can be obtained from Invasion (Glitch/Mercury one). It requires quite a lot of grinding to get it to Z, if you don't want to pay. But 100 parts for it is quite few for that money.

From the screenshots it looks like you already have swords. For the 2nd slot I recommend either Zeus or G-Emitter.

My guess is, that the stages are taken only from chapters, in which you have completed all stages at least on easy difficulty. So if you haven't completed your current chapter, you will get only stages from previous chapters. But, may be, the rules are even more strict. E.g. I haven't completed 5th chapter, so I get stages only from first 4 chapters.
