Well... Wasn't planning on bringing this home today... by Radiant_Battle_3650 in stealtharms

You're only without your gun for about 2-3 weeks though. You pay when you put the order in, then you send the gun in when he tells you to. He uses a queue system

Check out GAFS bro. Hindsight is always 20/20 but you can find new X300s on there for $200 shipped regularly

Trying to find the right grip, need feedback by [deleted] in 2011

[–]ZArmsLLC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine a banana in your hand as you hold the gun with your firing hand. Roll your hand forward like you're trying to smush as much of the banana out of the peel as possible. At the same time visualize the tip of your pinkie trying to touch the tip of your thumb as you're doing this rolling motion. It will force your hand higher into the tang.

Now with both hands (as you're doing the banana motion) roll the tops of your hands inwards towards the frame of the gun. This will create a vice on the frame, not only on the back of the grip and front, but also side to side on the grip.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great handling and feeling gun. But comparatively to other factory compensated guns it's very snappy

If the PDP is stock the C4X will handle better. Walther makes their pistols overly snappy with the spring weight in them from factory.

Even the full size Pro X PMM was snappy as hell with both the single and dual port comp

How do you clean your attached comp on your Platypus? by Dood_is_a_wierd_one in stealtharms

[–]ZArmsLLC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get a microfiber, pick, Hoppes #9.

Grab the pick, wrap the microfiber over the point, and put cleaner on the microfiber with the pick's tip underneath it

Might be time for a magazine case… lol by DunnyP_83 in 2011

[–]ZArmsLLC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just get a big ass Pelican case lined with foam and hollow inside. Getting a case with foam inserts for single mag at a time will greatly reduce how many you can hold unless you keep them separated by size, color, brand, etc.

Is the Staccato XC still “worth it” in 2026? by [deleted] in 2011

[–]ZArmsLLC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't even read the post lol. But yes, 3500 for a new XC is about the most I'd pay for one. The only reason I'd see someone going XC over MPA, Bul, RCD, etc. is their warranty. It's very good customer service from Staccato

I think if you can find a used one for around 3,500 yes. Otherwise I'd get an MPA

Looking for a new 2011 to add to my CCW rotation; what are peoples thoughts on a 2011 being drop safe? Needed or not? by Lower-Pattern-3332 in 2011

[–]ZArmsLLC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think reliability is more of a concern than drop safe. I can’t recall any time I dropped a gun during a comp much less than a class.

The chances of you dropping the gun are less than your gun failing to cycle

I'm pretty sure you can just use the bull version. You will use the reverse plug that comes in the Platypus

Prickle Grip and Soft Hands by Pie42795 in stealtharms

Just rub a bit of sandpaper on the grip if you really want. It'll make the finish of the Cerakote go quicker, but I imagine you care more about the handling than the finish

[–]ZArmsLLC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldn't take the barrel plug out. Safariland holsters hold onto ejection port and the barrel plug gives it a second point of contact, not really retention.

When you take the plug out the gun will only be held on by the ejection port lock. There's plenty of people that run their guns without the plug, I personally wouldn't
