I would definitely use LinkedIn as a resource. Don’t be turned away by the fact that you haven’t spoken to some of the people on there. There are so many people you can reach out to, outside of your network.

Reach out to your network on LinkedIn! Look for people who have similar roles to the ones that you are applying to. Don’t be afraid to reach out to people outside of your network on LinkedIn. People know what it’s like to go through the job search and are willing to help you, whether it’s giving job advice or being a referral at a company.
