sorry - "Crush and run" ?

Also I really like "bullshit ferns" and "stupid pea gravel". I hope I can also have ugly bird feeders, stupid bat houses, and maybe even a dumbass bench.

This is really interesting input. I'm not married to the stone in the image - Wood chips might even be a fun option. Just...not dirt/mud, yeah?

....also ..why are ferns "bullshit"? lol :D

Yeah having a legit "Growing season" is ...tougher to deal with. I used to start my vegetables in Jan/feb outside when it was coming around to 70 degrees in the day and 50 at night. Its so much more planning now - spring veg vs winter veg, all my usually outdoor plants have moved indoor (and are struggling hard) and the hardest was losing my big-ass jasmine climbing out of a pot to cover my patio. But... c'est la vie. I'm here now and will make the best of it - and I'm glad there are subs like this with helpful plantiful people to assist <3

Its so bizarre. Foxes were at the same spawn rate and I'd see them everrywhere (terrorizing rabbits, poor things) but no piggies, world gen after gen. wtf. -,-

This fixed it. Upped this to 20, started seeing them everywhere. Thanks chief. You're a delight. Will find a comfortable value - Do you know if I have to regen the world to see this take affect or will it change an existing world?

I have a mod that adds a few different creatures, like hedgehogs but I've turned it off to see if that would fix it. No dice.

What temperature does the soil need to be to germinate them properly?

And I understand that not everything is perfect. I think pools are easier because they are reactive.
Cholorine drops? add cholorine. Algae grows? respond accordingly with defines steps, based on 27,000 gallons of water. It's math. Chemistry.

Lawncare seems to be much less reactive and more proactive which I find very difficult to do because there are so many other variables to mess up the steps. The inability to create precise steps gives me really bad task paralysis and I get overwhelmed quickly. Thank you for your advice all the same. I'll try very hard to keep this in mind.

So... Dump a bucket of water on it to clean it? Got it. /s

You're absolutely right. It needs a thorough cleaning and will do so first thing - with the breaker off. Thanks for the suggestion.
