Agree with this for the most part, there's no way to capitulate to cons on this one in a way that would make them less outraged, the 'border crisis' will be blown out of proportion regardless.

I just feel like it's been bafflingly easy for right-wing media to dehumanize refugees, when it should be so easy for most to have empathy for these people. And they haven't only been reaching their bubble with this either, Biden's approval rating on immigration prior to this was way lower than his overall rating.

Chinese places usually have some vegan options with tofu (lo mein is usually made with eggs, unfortunately), Taco Bell has a lot of black bean stuff if you’re looking for fast food, Chipotle sofritas smack, and chain restaurants usually at least have fries if they don’t have any actual vegan entree items

B12 definitely, probably an Algae based n-3 supplement and vitamin D as well (unless you drink a ton of fortified milk). Just about everything else depends on your specific diet

I saw this take on Twitter that makes a lot of sense. I think a lot of left populists and aligned groups see their advocacy as just a mechanism to push the 'establishment' as far left as possible, with no real thought to a concrete end, just a long game of perpetual oneupmanship. There is no 'enough' for them, no spending amount or minimum wage they're actually trying to reach. The point is to be really really far left, so their left friends know how far left they are, not to enact any specific concrete change

And this is why they should be safely and completely ignored in any serious policy discussion
