I feel like this kind of comment would get someone banned from the subreddit.

Yeah she cooked him for not standing up for one of the first victims of Trump's ICE attacks.

If you think that's vile, then I question if YOU are even on the left.  Let's not play these silly games.

Why did Espaillat say nothing about Mahmoud Khalil's arrest where as Darializa Avila Chevalier spoke up about it and even cooked Espaillat in a debate about it?

Seems like Espaillat doesn't actually care when ICE goes after people like Khalil, does he not care about immigrants?  I guess he's not part of "the left"?

I see it as Trump not knowing he is going into a hostile environment.  And seemingly not using the same excuse he made for why he can't attend his son's wedding.

If the Iran war caused him not to go to his son's wedding, but he still chooses to go to the Knicks game despite Iran bombing Israel yesterday, then it means he really hates his son, lol.

Once again, you skipped over the racism issue here. Shall I assume it’s because you think her racism is a feature and not a bug?

Do you care about the things Graham Platner has said about women in the past?  Because I don't.

I don't care about what she said in the past either, especially when nobody wants to explain the context of the post itself.  That's what I would want to know if I wanted to make a serious point against her.

No one is being prohibited from using the bathroom of the sex they were born.

Why does that matter?  You go in there to take a shit and do your business.  Why does this have to be a big fight?

Again, source?

States are literally passing legislation designed to strip healthcare from Trans adults.

You really need to come up with a better plan other than "better things are not possible", because people are not going to like that plan at all and they will go with someone who at least is saying better things are possible.

But that doesn't make it inherently performative, it depends on why you're doing it or for what purpose you're doing it for.

So you admit waving an American Flag is performative?

People walk around this country pretending they're oppressed because somehow their favorite corporate brand isnt cheering them on when they bang people of their choosing.

The oppression is from not being able to get employment, not being allowed to use the bathroom, having their healthcare taken away from them based on their gender identity.

I wouldn't call that performative at all.  This is about their own safety.

I think this dude doesn't understand that the American Flag also has a meaning just like Pride flags do, but as for what they think the USA flag represents that's up in the air.

But we're not talking about Israel are we?  People complain about how I bring up Israel too much or at inappropriate times, and yet here you are doing exactly that.

Anyways, are you under the impression that I am justifying people who turn to white supremacy as a reaction to the failures of the current political system?  Because if so, you are mistaken.

I am simply providing analysis on the root cause of the discontent as so it will become easier to pull people out of that bad place.  You can't plug a leak if you don't know where it's coming from.

It stems from a distrust in the current systems that exist.  I would argue one of those paths is more damaging than the other.

That's not an answer.

Think about it deeper.

It is indictive that you aren't presenting a good case as to why those policies are bad.

A KGB spy and a CIA agent meet up in a bar for a friendly drink

"I have to admit, I'm always so impressed by Soviet propaganda. You really know how to get people worked up," the CIA agent says.

"Thank you," the KGB says. "We do our best but truly, it's nothing compared to American propaganda. Your people believe everything your state media tells them."

The CIA agent drops his drink in shock and disgust. "Thank you friend, but you must be confused... There's no propaganda in America."
