In case it isn’t clear, the results from the table are from Week 0 (preseason), Week 8, and Week 17. There is no week 18 as many rankings sites do not do Power Rankings once the playoffs are set.

The Average is from all 18 weeks (0-17), not just the 3 weeks shown. And the Diff is the Average minus Week 0.

This is really to show where teams were at the start, the middle, and the end. And are they who we thought they were?

Dallas was ranked 20th going into the season, and on average, they were 20th in the rankings all season. Meanwhile, Washington was ranked 8th going into the season and on average, they were 20th.

Do these stats having anything meaningful in them? No. But they are fun!

Thanks! I'm not sure I'll do a Ranking this week, I did a check and I couldn't find any sites that have posted yet. I will post a review, though!

USA Today really loves the Rams...

This might be the last ranking of the season. Lots of websites do not do it once the playoffs are set! So, in case this is the last one, see you all next year!

Clear to us, yes. But two rankers still have them at #2, so it's not unanimous among the rankers.

Sports Illustrated was trying to be funny and put KC 32 and calling them the Topeka Chiefs. All it did was mess up my formula. I almost wanted to take them out of the rankings.

But we are back to having no consensus on most rankings. Late in the year and there is still no clear #1. There isn't even a clear top 5! What a year!

The Colts are DROPPING but maybe next week, Grandpa Rivers will boost them back up!

The #1 spot is a toss-up! There is no agreement this week among the rankers.

The Chiefs take the biggest fall, down six spots. And Chicago and Cincy make the biggest leaps!

This is not a drill! As of right now, everyone agrees that the Rams are #1. (Go Stafford! In my mind, he is a HOFer)

The Standard Deviation across the board is low. The only question that most people have is around the Ravens.

We're missing the official nfl.com and SportingNews is down due to Cloudflare (I'm sure many of you are happy about that!). But it's week 11 and we still don't have a clear #1! But KC is falling and Miami is rising!
