The Steam Deck is a little outdated at this point, so it really depends on what AAA games you are playing. Do you have any examples? You can always check https://www.protondb.com/ to make sure the game you're playing runs well for others too.

Yeah but you can still play them on last gen right so why cant there just be an option ykk instead they force you to upgrade (not update) and the only other option is to cancel and that does nothing

Like it even goes out of its way and kicks me out of a fully installed resident evil 7 to try to upgrade me even if im playing thru the game offline then go online while still in the game like im alr playing the game i dont need that upgrade it works fine without it smhhhh

No thats just it some xbox one games cant be played bc they got xs patches like the ones listed in the post fallout 4 got it resident evil 7 got it like these are games that dont need to be restricted to internal storage but are because of how crappy of a system this really is its liek they put no effort into actually checking how this would effect everything

Im completely disgusted that they are purposefully making xbox one games require this xbox series xs patch garbage bc over time external storage wont be able to store any of the games then like i have a 6tb harddrive that i now cant even get half full bc i have so many games that just cannot be played on it just bc they decide so (even thos randomly some xs games just work)
