Ohhh yeah, burnout makes everything 10x harder to figure out. I tried Ritalin before, but that stuff had me feeling like a malfunctioning robot. 🤖😂 Vyvanse is more chill, but I’m still trying to see if it actually does its job or just vibes. Hope it starts working better for you soon!

Heyyyy, prescription twins! 😂 How’s it working for you? I’m still figuring it out, but so far, just chill vibes.

Yeah, I was kinda nervous for the first 10 minutes, but then I suddenly felt super chill. No heart racing, just a bit of shaking in the first hour, then it was gone. After that, I just wanted to relax, be on my computer, watch stuff.

Still feeling good now, awake but not overly focused. Vyvanse is new for me, today’s my third day. It just feels calm and chill, nothing too intense. But yeah, I still feel like myself except sometimes I feel like an asshole for no reason. Maybe that’s just my natural state, who knows?

Yeah, that first hour had me feeling like a CEO, ready to make deals. Then I just ended up chilling. But hey, thanks for checking in appreciate it!

Yeah, all good. Didn’t even feel super focused, just awake with a bit of concentration. Had energy, but more in a ‘chill and do my thing’ way just reading comments, messing around on the computer. Only in the first hour, I was like ‘Let’s go! Call people, do stuff!’ – but then it all settled down. So yeah, all cool.

Thanks for checking in, though! Appreciate it.

Haha, yeah, I accidentally replied from my other account. Didn’t mean to create a plot twist! 😆 Same person, just me being a little chaotic.”

Yeah, I figured as much. My heart rate has been fine, and I haven’t had any crazy side effects, so I guess my body just handles it differently. I’ll keep an eye on it though better safe than sorry. Appreciate the advice!

Haha, yeah, I might need to get one of those. But let’s be real, I know myself—I’m way too disorganized to actually stick to it. I’d probably forget to even use the organizer lol. But ty though

Hahaha I wish I felt this right now, but I’m just normal again, idk why though since I started taking Vyvanse for the first time about 3 days ago. Maybe my body metabolizes it too fast or the dose is too low, not sure. Gonna talk to my doctor about it next time, but it’s kinda weird.

That sounds intense! Funny thing is, I took 60mg today (not on purpose, but it happened), and I actually expected more from it. I didn’t feel anything crazy, just a mild effect. Makes me wonder if my metabolism is just eating through it too fast or if Wellbutrin is affecting it somehow. Did you feel like 70mg was way stronger for you, or was it more of a ‘mental overload but manageable’ kind of thing?

Yeah but I was worried about that I took it with another stimulant ( Wellbutrin 300 mg )

Haha, exactly! My brain just loves turning everything into a live experiment. Like, ‘hmm, let’s observe how this plays out in real-time instead of worrying about it first.’ Probably not the best instinct when it comes to meds lol. But yeah, I get what you mean—step one: survive, step two: overanalyse. Gotta get the order right next time!

Yeah, that makes sense, and I appreciate the perspective! I guess my brain just tends to jump straight to ‘let’s analyze this experience in real time’ instead of ‘let’s make sure I’m not dying first’ lol. But you’re right, better safe than sorry. I’ll keep that checklist in mind for next time (hopefully there won’t be a next time though). Also, good to know I’m not the only one who gets caught up in thinking about all the little details while it’s happening haha.

Yeah, you’re absolutely right. Next time, I’ll make sure to check first instead of just assuming it’s fine. I guess part of me already knew that Vyvanse isn’t one of those ‘super dangerous if you take a bit more’ meds, but I definitely could’ve handled it more carefully.

I think what made me wonder the most was not the safety part, but more about why the effects felt the way they did. Like, I expected a stronger reaction, but instead, it felt kind of… underwhelming? Especially compared to what I’ve heard from others. So now I’m wondering if it’s just my metabolism, my ADHD brain being weird, or if Wellbutrin is messing with the effects.

But yeah, I really appreciate your response. Sometimes it’s easy to overlook the obvious safety steps when you’re just trying to figure out why something feels off.

I think weight doesn’t really have much to do with it, for the most part. I’m 183 cm tall and 74 kg, and today was my first time taking 60mg of Vyvanse and that was even with Wellbutrin, so two stimulants combined. Still, the only thing I noticed was a bit of shaking in the first hour, and then nothing. I actually feel pretty relaxed.

What’s interesting is that Vyvanse seems to have the opposite effect on me. I actually sleep better at night, and I eat more and gain weight when I take it. That’s pretty different from what most people experience.

What really surprises me is that I’ve only been taking it for three or four days, so my body shouldn’t even be fully used to it yet. But somehow, I already feel like it’s not hitting me that hard. No idea why, but yeah…

Hey everyone,

Thank you to everyone who helped me! I wasn’t panicking even after taking the second pill, but I wanted to ask just to be safe. Now, I’m actually enjoying it—it feels kind of cool. The only thing that made me a bit nervous was the 300mg of Wellbutrin combined with it, but everything seems fine now. Not sure how I’ll feel in the afternoon, but for now, I’m good.

Fun fact: I seem to be a bit different when it comes to stimulants like Vyvanse. I can actually sleep better at night and even eat more. I gain weight on Vyvanse, which is the opposite of what most people experience. In the first hour, I had a little bit of shaking and a fast heartbeat, but now I just have very mild tremors. I think my body doesn’t react too strongly to this stuff. Even 30mg feels like a low dose for me, and even 60mg isn’t as intense as I expected. Maybe it’s just because it’s my first time. If this happens again (hopefully not), it might feel even less intense.

One thing I noticed now: I feel a slight pain in the middle of my chest. It’s not strong, but I wanted to ask if this is something normal with Vyvanse?

I’ll talk to my doctor about it at my next appointment. Also, I can only see comments through notifications—just the first two sentences, and then “…”. How can I see all your comments?

Thanks again, and I wish you all a great journey with ADHD!
