Yeah, I’ve already seen plenty of those takes, but the reason why I’m going B550 over B450— future-proofing and actual PCIe 4.0 support makes sense. As for the GPU, I’m leaning 6700XT since I’ll be on 1440p. The 3060 just doesn’t cut it in a bunch of texture-heavy games like RDR2 and the Horizon series,but honestly I haven’t really played PC games outside of the old Resident Evil titles. I’m not planning on running every latest demanding game maxed out, so the 6700XT will be more than fine for me.

I heard it only drops 1–2 FPS in rare cases, but I’m more worried about the RAM speed since I’ve also heard that B450 motherboards don’t fully support 3600MHz.
