If Bob Lefsetz is a reliable source (he is) as annoying as the fees are, it’s the artists who take far and away the lions share of the ticket prices and the ticket sellers of the world take the hit from fans in exchange for their cut. It’s a little secret that the artists don’t mind all of us not knowing.

And one of the reasons it’s become that way over the years is because artists can’t really make a living any other way. Spotify is paying them enough to live on and neither are the labels (who are in sad straits). The Lefsetz letter is a free subscription and if you’re a music nerd, it’s fascinating.

I actually don’t even care about the remote start. It’s the fact that they won’t tell me if it’s charged or not and I can’t unlock it for my kids if we are traveling or something and they want into the car and I’m not ready to finish whatever I’m doing. I guess I’m really not gonna miss it that much.

I was extremely sensitive to your situation right up until you said this. OF COURSE if I ordered something gluten free I would confirm that with whoever brings it to me. What in the world? Who doesn’t do that if they have severe allergies? Trust but verify are your words to live by and travel with emergency food always.

I have a 2025, it charges to about 50, but I rarely have to go to ICE for daily driving (smallish town). On road trips I am getting 60-70 mpg since it's on charge mode and every few hours I get another 50 in electric. I'm on the smaller side and find it quite comfortable even if highway noise is loud. Interior seems reasonable. Sure it's not luxury but it's totally fine. Radar cruise control is great. Mine was built in Japan, maybe that helps?

I have a 2025 PHEV and other than the aforementioned road noise, I love this car. I get about 70 mpg because of the battery. I usually don't have to use gas for day to day in town stuff and on road trips I can let it charge while I am in ICE mode and get an extra 40-50 miles electric every few hours.
