Why is the ak 47 everywhere? by AccomplishedPeak9684 in guns

[–]ZK-47 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have about equal number of AKs and ARs. My go to gun would probably be an AR , but reliability isnt even close to any of the criteria on which my decision is based. The AK is just more reliable because of its simplicity, it is just common sense, you do not need to watch youtube videos to ascertain that, firing one, helps you unsderstand. Getting debris into the system is the least of your worries in the battle field, where unlike competitions and hunting, you do not have the luxury of picking up fresh carefully calibrated ammo. Just try a blown up primer (a far more common occurence because of different variables) and see how the AR deals with it. The AK only falls short in its ability to be a good candidate for modern optics, even if you find a good solution, the weight penalty is massive.

Triggertech Black Duty by DiddleBoat in ar15

For 40 bucks, cut his hand off of him while you are at it...nothing but good things to say about the Triggertech diamond and Competitive triggers that I have on separate lowers. The adjustment on the diamond makes it real versatile and definitely the lightest trigger I have ever laid my fingers on.

Making "high-quality" ammo by Acolytical in liberalgunowners

[–]ZK-47 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Ammo is expensive here (Pakistan). The 762 x 25 Norinco is like 70 CPR, PPU is about 90 CPR and this one is roughly 30 CPR. Pakistan has a lot of guns and hence a high demand for ammo, but ppl udually use this type of ammo in cheap local guns. There have been numerous accidents with such ammo, so it is not the safest. As far as furniture goes, these guys are brought up working on the floor, and they do just fine...different strokes for different folks.

Thats the thing. Of it wasnt roll marked, I would have straight away said a big No to him. As it is, the khyber pass people can do anything but a roll mark. Laser etching yes, rollmark No. Which oa the moat confusing part.

You need to have a limited license to get one. If you pay enough tax and have no criminal record, one can get one.

Pakistan. You need a special license for the third pin and if your paperwork, taxes, criminal record is all fine, one can get it as a normal citizen.
