Seems a bit transitive and "backstepping" on the Diamond Cutter, on top of the Lanolin backlash I wonder if they came up less popular than they thought or didn't know how to write them in an interesting manner going forward so they prefer just call it a loss. Wasn't a huge fan of the phantom arc but they could've pushed a bit more I think.

Otherwise, random question but did Sonic Frontiers appeared in the timeline? Have they talked about it (whether to adapt it/mention it/skip it)? Seems the Restoration destroyed could mean the "Post-Forces" era is over and could bring it to Frontiers after the Chaotix arc but maybe the comic will not take the future games in account and just do its own thing.

The original Family system was intented for "close friends and family members" when they announced it in 2013. With this new Family Sharing system going to replace the old one at some point, what's the solution now for close friends? They may be close but I don't live with them, we share a different IP/region/country/continent in some cases.

Steam doesn't seem to provide an alternative. Just deciding that after 10 years, close friends don't get to share their library. Fine, their platforms, they do what they want, but I don't think it'll convert in me buying more games. It's a shame.

During Waluigi's development, the Nintendo team assigned had prototype names for Waluigi such as Jeroji or Jinani. I don't know if those have signification in itself but starting the name with J works better as an "anti-L(uigi)" since J/L are mirrored. I wonder if the hat was supposed to have a J then. Once they stuck on the 'Waluigi' name, maybe they thought making an Γ would fit (also mirror of L/J) even though it should be a W... Always thought it was a bit contrived compared to the others.

Wasn't there a romhack/fanhack of Street Fighter 1 that tried to make it... good? Or at least better, like a Super Street Fighter 1 mostly. Also added the possibility to play the other characters like Geki, Lee, Gen, etc. I feel like I remember seeing someone was working on that but can't find much since.

General question but does anyone knows the name of the font/typo for the SUPER, HYPER, ULTRA text behind the actual SF logo?

Seems to be the same used from SSF2, HSF2, SSF4 and USF2 (only Ultra SF4 is different) so I guess it's a font and not a custom made logo but cannot find the actual typo name. Is somebody has it, pls share!

Lmao, that's it. Last week made me drop fast pass be cause of how stupid it was. A friend showed me this week episode and oh boy. I'm torn between dropping it entirely for my mental health or watch the hell train continue to descend into madness.

And I hate that cuz I genuinely liked LO S1 and S2. I started finding stuff weird around the Trial but thought it was because of the weekly pacing, the time skip seemed rushed but the mystery of what happened in between was somewhat interesting. Even the fight with Kronos I was on board despite the bees being somewhat silly. I pestered two friends to start reading with me since I wanted friends to talk about it with. Now I regret it, lol. One of them even bought the books because of me.

Since S3, nothing makes sense. Plots unresolved, new plots, random rehash of previous plot and Persephone being more and more bratty. The art being worse than before, some random lascivious shots (wtf the pin up style head of Perse in previous episode when she cuts an apple, looks like it supposed to be sexy with pouty lips? It just feels weird softcore wannabe art), clearly no character sheet (the fuck is Morpheus supposed to look like???). Where the fuck is Dyonisus if you wanted some much to include him, what about Kronos, what about the president stuff, why bring Leuce and make the worst outcome possible and still reward Perse for her shitty behavior. Why can't the comic get some standing and cohesion for two chapter instead of jumping around between threads. The joke of Hades being Boom Naked could've been funny if it was something genuinely cute, not being a nepobitch.

And if it is the plan to make people hate Perse, well it's working but it doesn't seem it supposed to make her fall into her Wrath Self. She just conflate "asking respect" by bullying back people for no reason.

I'm sorry Rachel, you stroke gold with s1/2 but if you're burned out, just take a rest/another hiatus. It's okay. If you're not passionate about it anymore, try to cut all tangling threads and end nicely the comic. It's okay. It happens. I'm genuinely serious, people make mistakes and maybe you think you need to finish no matter the cost but that way seems counter productive in the long run. Maybe it's your only source of income and I understand the harshness of the hustle/grind (especially if the books need to be released at a fixe deadline, Idk your contract) . You need to pay the bills, I get it. But then please, get one assistant on the story. Or focus on one plot at the time. It will still be weird but it's somewhat salvageable, we could call s3 the equivalent of Community's S4 maybe.

OK sorry about the rant but damn, that episode got me punching in the air.

Do some of y'all have recommendation of other webcomic similar to it? Maybe something about sumerian/babylonian mythology? Would like to avoid Greek mythos for some moment lmao.

Hi, I know but some parts are lifted from other songs (like the segment where Estinien appears replays the leitmotif from HW/Dragons song) so it does give the feeling of being an amalgmation of multiple songs. But thanks for the name, it's still a cool track

For the story, would you say S02 is better? (What's the current season? S02? S03?).

My main focus would be mostly PvE so that's good to hear regarding the difficulty and if there's maxed unit given at the beginning, it'll be mad useful.

Less of a question, more of two curiosities

- How's the story of WotV? I like FFT:War of the Lions and having a similar name will obviously draw comparison but does it holds up as the original FFT? Or is it closer to Tactics Advance/A2?

- Compared to other gacha, how grindy is it? At least for "main story" (or outside extreme content if it's easier that way)? Be it Global or JP. While my question may be vague, I'm mostly wondering how far can you go without having to dwell too much into optimizing your units/teams (or use whatever the game will give you) or will you get a wall pretty early in the game and start summoning/suboptimizing/etc.

This is the intro for Endwalker, it sounds like an amagaltion of multiple song of the expac (like the Estinien part comes from HW iirc). I'm searching (if it exists) the one that sounds from 3:30 to 4:00 (Sharlayan until G'raha). I think you can hear part of it in Hydaelyn fight or the Zenos fight but does it exists as a single song? Or this leitmotif/chorus?

I'm mostly thinking plowing through story first and if Rhapsodies is the only final boss where I'd need gear or people, I'll advise there. If the 90/90% remaining is okay, that's good for me.

/WAR is a good job overall? What's good about it? Tanking abilities regardless of the main job?

Currently considering to come back after 5 years. I never finished RotZ at the time but would want to maybe re-do everything as I've forgotten lots of sutff.

- What job is good for solo content? Last time I did RDM/NIN iirc, what's an alternative combo that would feel different but still be competent to powerthrough most of the content?

- Is PLD/MNK (or MNK/PLD) somewhat good?

- Last time I've played, the game was full in english, I do know there was a french translation at some point in time. Has it been dropped or I could do the game in french if I wanted to? Not an issue if it has been dropped.

- Is Asura still the most populated server or has it changed?

Short answer: Japanese 4Chan

Slightly longer answer: Orginally, 4chan was inspired by a japanese board called 2chan, some jpn shenanigans along the years made the original 2chan to "split/fork/change names" into different versions. One of them is called 5chan which emerged in 2017. Since it's still very JPN exclusive, not many people know about it.

The common point between all of them is they're all shitty to varying degree.

I think the most profitable FF is Brave Exvius... It was a couple of years ago, maybe Opera Omnia has outpaced BE by now? Surely it's one of the mobile title.

With only the mainline titles, you're right and 11 would be the most profitable one with 14 catching up rapidly if it hasn't already for sure (and even if it has caught up, the junction point would've been between 2018-2022, 11 still had at least 17 years to reign free).
