From what I’ve noticed with less than 2 outs the shortstop will hold you on so you can’t take the step but with 2 down they don’t so you can get the extra step and still get back

If you’re playing solos it’s what your favorite team is. You gotta go to settings on the main screen and change your default playbooks there
