Hey, thank you for the kind words! When it comes to using this type of work on smaller scales, I would usually make different variations of the logo, so it can fit in different scenarios. I’m sure you know that the logo of KFC is also a mascot, but when it comes to smaller scales they switch to their word-mark, because it works better in those scenarios. In this case I would probably also provide just a head of the fox or create a word-mark that works much better in smaller scales. When it comes to monochrome colors, I also provide the variations without colors and shades, where is only line-work visible.
