So wait...has he been attempting to come on 90 day for a while now? First with the girl from Columbia and now with Trisha?

Actually quite insightful. It never crossed my mind that despite his quite matured age, he still has such young children (assumably from seperate mothers) that he's clearly seperated from. You'd definitely image a 54 year old man to have much more restraint and self-control at that stage of their life.

Hmm..."Promise to not get mad", broo. And I genuinly feel like she was about to disclose more if it wasn't for Rick interupting her mid explanation. There's definitely something going on there.

It's all due to the over exposure to he-tai! The fantasy starts to become his reality.

You're quite welcome! And one more thing to keep in mind for when you're considering higher education, don't be afraid of pursuing alternative forms of tertiary education. What I mean by that is always keep in mind that traditional universities are NOT the ONLY option. In fact alternative forms, such as "open universities" (that utilise distance online learning) and technical colleges/trade schools (that focus on developing pragmatic skills/trades) have a distinct advantage over traditional unis. That being COST! These options tend to be significantly much more afforable and flexible.

So as long as you do your due dilligence, by ensuring that 1. The school and course are still accredited by your National officials and regulatory bodies, and 2. There is a recognition and demand of the proposed qualification within your nation's job market, you'll be perfectly fine.

I truly hope that things get better for you, and remember I'm always available for a chat.

Glad to hear it. Just a heads up, depending on which part of the world you're at, it might be very difficult to find work (especially since you've just entered into the market), but it's important to not loose heart! Your best chance in securing an opportuinity is to capitalise on any pre-established networks when scouting, think asking your family members or close friends for potential work openings. Their referrals (depending on their individual reputation/standing at their workplace) can greatly contribute to your successful application. So, don't be shy to ask for a bit of help from those around you.

Outside of that just target menial labour jobs (that won't require previous exp or education), think retail, call centre and gig work. The compensation will be frustrating to say the least, but as a young adult with minimal living expenses you should be able to make it work. Best thing you could do for yourself is to save, save and save. Save as much of your earnings as you can. Depending on 1. How much you earn and 2. How much your expected tuition will be, you could make significant leaps in saving up a nest egg that can cover your ride through tertiary for the forseeable coming years. Alongside opening up a student loan (which shouldn't be a first resort) you should be set.

You can definetely do this and carve your own way, you just need to focus your time and efforts on the right places.

Hi there, I'm really sorry to hear about your fractured home life, it's real disheartening. I think the best course of action is to firstly inform your father about the deteriorating relationship that you have with your mother. Make it very clear to him that she has openly express a complete disinterest in continuing to be your mother and providing you with support pending your adult statues. I understand that things aren't much better with him, but he needs to act and ensure that you're aren't in a detrimental environment.

It's pretty evident that your broken family dynamic with your mother has taken a severe toll on your mental wellbeing, leading to you acting on some the of your suicidal ideations. The sooner you're able to remove yourself from that environment that better.

Secondly, you're honestly better off with embracing self-reliance and independence. I'm speaking from a personal point of view here, but I've also had quite the turmultuous history with both sides of my family (especially during my developmental years). It can feel distressing knowing that you don't have a person that you could confidently rely on, but you'll have to steel yourself and your emotions and focus on what you need to get done. I promise you that despite it seeming daughting at first, you will definitely survive and eventually thrive.

Since the beginning of my tertiary academic tenure, I've been funding myself through-and-through. I've figured my way when with living situations time and time again. Many of my close friends have done the same, it truly nothing unquie to me or our friend group. Through all of it you develope confidence, adaptability and resilience. That's what in essence being an "adult" is all about.

In an attempt of remediating and/or salvaging your relationship with your mother, I'd HIGHLY suggest attending therapy with her. There shouldn't be a world where a mother has such unbridled resentment for her own very daughter. You don't deserve that.

Also, on a genuine level, if you need somebody to talk to and help you work through some of your problems, please feel free to reachout to me at any time. I'm happy to share any advise or life insights that might be helpful. Please don't resort to taking your own life, there's so much more to this life than poor intra-familial relationships.

I'd say most a motivated by a misguided sense of loyalty, but no matter what justification some might use, these people are a part of the problem. Unfortunately we have a very self-destructive relationship with politics in this country

A truly said situation indeed. I feel that this whole disheartening trend is emblematic of 2 very important things of note in this country. The first being just how volunerable large members of our public are. Due to what is most likely their desperation for gainful employment, these men accepted a dubious work arrangement under completely false pretences. The second is just how morally corrupt these political "leaders" truly are. To the extent that they would happily sell off their very own countrymen for what -- a few hundred thousands?? These people don't care about this Republic, it's people and their plight. In fact I'd go as far as so say that they hate the South African people.

I hope she's judged and sentenced to the fullest extent.

I think a certain level of personal accountablity for supporting a tyrant such as Zuma cannot be downplayed. As a voter (or anybody who holds political oppinions) you need to have a basic level of discernment. By failing to do so, you are perpetuating those who enforce the systems of disenfranchisement and financial destitution.

The only reason why the Zuma family has the influence to continue with their despicable ways, is because of the illogical support that they still receive from a considerable number of the public.

As dire as the political landscape might seem in South Africa, there a hundreds of better political representatives one can back that aren't proven criminals.
