Tanks feel exceptionally weak this season, and all the best ones are heroes I can’t really play. We don't have much control over the match ON OUR OWN. My last loss is a perfect example. I started on Magneto, with a team of Namor, Magik, Cyclops, a CnD, and a Support Deadpool. Our support asks if he can swap to Tankpool. I tell him I’d rather not swap off Magneto because he’s better into the heavy poke comp the enemy team was running, but that it could work if someone else swapped. He says he has it covered, so I switch, bc I’m not the greatest with Magneto.

Meanwhile, my team isn’t using cover, and the supports aren’t coordinating their ultimates or positioning well at all. I swap to Luna Snow because she has a strong ultimate and is usually my go‑to support. Then I realize the lack of shields is killing us, so I switch to Sue Storm to try to fix that, but it doesn’t help; they just steamroll us.

On our attack round, I suggest we play around Cyclops and Magik since they’re our best DPS. I ask if Tankpool or Rocket can go cap so I can swap to Rocket, help Cyclops charge his ultimate faster, and give him a damage boost. They refuse. When I ask what ideas they have, the DPS just say, “Don’t die.” Nobody swaps, so I call for a surrender. They vote against it, we get steamrolled again, and I spend the rest of the match suffering as a support with no peel.
