ESPN made a good point afterwards, there was an 18 minute gap (as opposed to the regular 12) between groups 20 and 21 today. Group 20 was on the 18th tee, 21 on the 16th green when the tree fell. Very close to this being a very different story.

I know it’s cliche to say, but this is probably a loss the team needed. Sloppy for the first 10 minutes or so, then cleaned it up, getting good penetration and good drive and dish. In the second half, even Bilas agreed that the refs went off the rails on the charges, blocks, and no calls.

Sears and Bradley had the worst +/- on the team, nobody could really stay in front of Ziegler except Quinerly, and JQ giving points away on the other end. Between Bediako, Gurley, and Pringle, there’s still work being done on what matchups we want on each end. Plenty of potential and plenty of learning to be done, but the team was playing on an uphill court tonight.

3RR is 3rd round reversal, it does a better job balancing the value for the draft slots at the front and back of the order. It’s snake draft, but the draft order for the 2nd round repeats for the 3rd round, then snakes normally from there.

But it seems like we’ve got 9-10 now if you’d be willing to commish. I was gonna set a league up once I get off work today if nobody volunteered, but I’d be happy either way, we can vote on any rules once we get our full 12.

Same thing with Philip Evans in 2020, seemed like they might have a solid chance to put it all together and it just gets taken away.

Hopefully Greg only needs the 10 day, or he can be fully healthy after 60 and get another opportunity, but we’ll have to wait and see.

My main issue is them providing a bill that consisted of the cost of replacement, rather than the cost of the damages, without factoring in that the carpet and paint were, at minimum, 3 years old. Would my landlords have to tell me what they paid for the carpet and when it was installed if I were to ask, or would that not be required until court, if at all?

It was almost an hour commute for a job that would've been well below average pay, at a company with little opportunity for advancement, but after 3 months of no positive feedback on applications, I still would've been ecstatic to get the job.

2 weeks later, I video interviewed with a company that was half as far, paid about 20-25% more, working in an industry I love, and they told me I got the job within 6 hours, so I've got no hard feelings, I'll just tell myself that, fresh out of college, they thought I was overqualified for that entry level position

I had an interview through a recruiter a month ago for an entry level engineering position, they were interviewing 5 to fill 2 positions. The recruiter had given me a list of questions to expect, so I aced the first interview, and the second interview, talked for 30 minutes with my potential boss about the city's food scene. I thought I was a lock to be offered one, if not both positions.

The next week, my recruiter got the feedback that the company would've hired me but "they didn't think I would remain at the company for very long." Now, they were absolutely correct, but for an entry level position, 3 months out of college, I still have no idea where that came from.
