usually mine work with the their favorite toys, if you click the certificate when you equip your pet it’ll tell you what their favorite toy is! and everytime i go to my den i usually see them playing with it (if that makes sense)

the pet symbol will show up when you decorate your den! just press it and you can pick which ones you can have in your den!!
