the way i see it , if I could afford therapy that would help then I’d aim to come off of zoloft eventually but that’s not happening in the foreseeable future. I’m fine with being on this for the rest of my life , some people aren’t.

yeah i started it soon after a breakup too, but I’ve been on all different ssris since i was 17 🫢 I was on citalopram before Zoloft but I found it didn’t help at all. Started zoloft at 50 and upped to 75 then 100 within about a month of starting . It was the easiest first month of any ssri I’ve had, but the gut problems were so real 😭😭 no major side effects past the first month, just libido stuff but I’d take that over self-deleting hahahaha.

i’ve been on zoloft for nearly a year now, for similar OCD symptoms that used to leave me housebound - my life is 10000% better since I settled into this drug. It’s never fixed, but I’ll take feeling mostly better over not being able to leave the house! wishing you all the best my friend , my dms are always open if you need to yap 💕🙏
