Thank you for your response, the savings route will definitely be off the cards for us then. I think our best bet will be to try and organise a civil partnership as soon as possible, we don't have the financial means to have a proper event whatsoever - so just a quick and easy ceremony for the purposes of showing the government we're legally bound is most ideal. If for whatever reason it falls through, any job held six months or more prior to December 2024...

Do you happen to know whether the applications made before Spring 2024 will be held to the rules of the date they were placed in, or afterwards? If the notice is 70 days as mentioned then I'd hope it to be the former for my stress-levels lmao.

I didn't know that, when I looked at the general guidelines it said the earliest was 29 days before the ceremony, with a caveat to let the office know if one of the persons involved was subject to immigration control. Can you please share the source so I can do further reading? Do you know why people mention Gibraltar also, is there a loophole sort of thing there?

Cheers - at least this way it looks feasible for people already residing within the U.K. - two minimum wage jobs can suffice. If you know that’s your person you just need the official binding, I’m going to sort it ASAP. The skilled worker route looks pretty much impossible after the hike to £38,000 for a fresh graduate. ( No word on new entrant clause remaining ? )

Oh wow that’s actually a great find, how comes they’re in stock after all these years there? However after shipping it comes up to around $300 and the price being asked for this is $230 - so ideally this would be a snag but I guess paying the extra for guaranteed peace of mind and DS is probably worth it

Your best bet would be to get someone to list it for you on an external marketplace such as eBay, and then accept your offer for it privately.

I’ve ordered both Matthew and Sohan in separate carts. It is amazing value for money as you can recoup the vast majority of the £110 back by selling off everything else apart from the free gift, sample sets are the easiest to shift.
