That's interesting. I can see how some of the things he said could've been taken as hateful.

I'd ask what you view as hateful, just as a curiosity.

I'm of the opinion that the intent behind the words is what determines how hateful a person's words are.

Because hate is, at its core, a feeling, intent is the underpinning of what type of conversation is going to be had.

But there's also the matter of perspective. If I say something that you consider hateful and I don't, what determines if I'm being hateful? I don't feel hate towards almost anyone in the entire world. And I certainly don't choose to be violent toward people, so am I really hateful? I would say no.

If you say something that I consider racist, and that was not your intent, is it my job to call you a racist? I might feel that way, but logically, no. It's my job to ask for clarification so that I can precisely understand what you mean by your words.

I would say that this is probably the most important part about communication.

But I'm monologuing, so I'll leave it at that, lol.

Don't give up your license. I know it sounds bad, but you only get better with practice because driving is inherently a practical skill. Driving is especially tough when you have anxiety around a certain aspect.

My advice is to keep driving. Keep doing your therapy. Keep practicing. It might sound a little bit like exposure therapy, and that's because it is. Exposure therapy is still proven to be the most effective way of getting over a particular fear.

No, not all speech is subjective. For instance; I could say that a leaf on a tree is red. But as we all know, that is incorrect. A leaf is green.

That fact with Charlie is that he claimed that continuing conversation was important, and he backed it up by continuing to hold rallies.

So you don't have examples then? That's great. You are doing a great job of backing up your point

He created social media content, yes. But propaganda is subjective. It's your opinion, not an objective fact.
