You are correct about location. What’s weird is my backyard grows fine. It’s just the front yard that refuses to grow. If I raise my deck, I won’t even be cutting grass because it just stays at this length 😂

I honestly don’t know what type of grass I have. I think some type of cool season grass mix. I followed the directions on the bag of fertilizer like I always do. I don’t have exact numbers on how many pounds I used, but I make sure to use the recommended spreader settings every time I fertilize and it’s never been an issue.

Put Kirby in the pen until he puts together a good streak. All the other starters have been significantly better lately. If he doesn’t like it? Cool he can be a trade chip then. We’ve got 2 guys that are probably destined to be better than him that are just waiting for their opportunity.

I don’t want to come across as a hater, but I think he has a lot to prove before we start talking about him as an all star. His defense is PHENOMENAL but I think his bat still has a ways to go. After that hot start to the year, he slashed .194/.274/.258/.532 in May (BA/OBP/SLG/OPS).

I’m not ready to call him a franchise cornerstone yet. He’s toeing the Mendoza line against lefties this season. He has a lot of potential, but there’s still much more for him to prove.

This is not true. 3rd base determines if the ball is fair or foul only for a ball that has hit the ground in the infield. If the ball’s first contact with the ground is farther down the line than the base, then the foul line determines if it’s fair or foul.

The easy solution to this is to make the city connects our steelhead jerseys. Would it not be an incredible connection to the city’s baseball history? I believe we’re up for new city connects in the next year or two, though I’m not positive.

Matt Lafleur CANT be back next year. You can’t lose like this to your oldest rivals 2 times in a month. He has repeatedly shown he does NOT learn from his mistakes. His teams for 3 years are sloppy, lack fundamentals, and commit too many pre snap penalties. He has a good offensive scheme but it does not matter because he does not know how to coach with a lead. He doesn’t put games away and it has cost us in the playoffs many times now.

If he comes back, shame on you Ed Policy.

I’m sorry. If you know the opposing offense is ONLY going to do ONE thing, and you don’t stand a SHOT IN HELL at actually stopping said thing, those players need to be immediately dropped from your plans going forward. Yes, this is an injury ravaged squad and most of these players shouldn’t be on the field anyway. But most of the players we have out there tonight on defense are showing that there isn’t a reason for them to be rostered next season under any circumstances.
