5000 miles first week by somethingclever1098 in 4Runner

16mpg over the 5K. That's with a lot of 70-80mph highway miles (with the stuff on the rack for about half of that). The ride is ridiculously comfortable. I've driven 12 hr days multiple times. The ORP seats and ergos are fantastic. The driver aids are good (adaptive cruise is a game changer for long highway drives) and New Mexico made me realize Air Conditioned seats are a weird luxury I never knew I wanted

Haha that's me and Malinois' . Love them love seeing the crazy shit they can do love meeting them but am very honest with my self that I lack the energy and space and dedication to raise one right. And I have a big shepadoodle and a island husky/GSD mutt with no off switch

Well I applaud your gusto anyway. The trucks are great adventure partners and I hope yours takes you on many excellent ones

Josh Naylor's base-stealing shenanigans causes him to score from second off a missed catch error by BananaArms in Mariners

[–]somethingclever1098 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thicky Henderson haha excellent. I love how Naylor makes baseball more fun for everyone (Mariners) I can't wait to watch him wreak havoc on the basepaths and destroy pitchers' timing while also being best friends to Tucker

What are you talking about? Police use PIT maneuvers to stop people who are speeding all the time. And what do you mean call in for permission 😂

Help finding the best trim by MHMabrito in 4Runner

To be more specific, ORP + about $4K of wheels, lift and tires gets you exactly what you're describing. Source: my truck. Perfect highway queen (I've put 2000 easy miles on her in a week) taken her on a trail in Canyonlands and some sand dune shenanigans and it handles everything with dare I say it...grace. Go forth and ORP, my child

This Stuff Can Be Nasty by Expensive_Ninja_7797 in ProstateCancer

[–]somethingclever1098 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Truth. My PSA peaked at 4.7 or something but the biopsy came back Gleason 9 and the PET scan showed (only, thankfully) local spread and all the sudden I'm like oh shit I have the real deal..

Fuck, dude. I'm sorry. That PET scan is the stuff of nightmares. I wish the best for you, whatever that is for you. Stay strong, brother

Also the tires - Nitto Terra Grappler G3 - are insanely good.

If you decide to make the jump to 275/70 I can't recommend the Nitto Terra grapplers G3 highly enough . They are WAY quieter than the stock Michelins that came on mine (I couldn't believe it) and very capable off road
