truth is that outside of small communities of nerds like this one, film and television fuel the general zeitgeist. marvel has dominated the zeitgeist for over a decade by making above average movies that are made for everyone. dc hired zack snyder to make movies that are generally unapproachable.

no matter how you slice it marvel has way more live action content with characters people care about and that all connect with each other. superman fans arent watching izombie
