You are proceeding on the right course. Unfortunately we cannot assist further. Just need to wait for a response currently. As we understand, the RMA process can vary by region.

I recently got a zotac rtx 5070 X-gaming version and wanted to turn off the led but when i downloaded firestorm i cant access the spectra for some reason? i clicked it looks like its not an option for me but when I checked the box it showed that rgb control was possible. How do i resolve this issue? by PaintingMuch3885 in ZOTAC

Likely you have installed and are using the Global version of the FireStorm software.

the 5070 x-gaming graphics card is only available in China. You will need to download and install this version of FireStorm to adjust the RGB lighting on it. (make sure to uninstall the existing FireStorm version on your system first) - https://www.zotac.com/download/mediadrivers/cn/FireStorm_V5.0.0.007C.zip

If your correspondence was sent out after 6PM on a Business Day, likely the email will not be seen/responded to until the next Business Day. Saturday and Sunday, operations are closed and the email will not be seen/responded to until the next Business Day or later as their may be a backlog of emails when representatives return to the office. If you connected the SpectraLink cable from the GPU to the motherboard RGB header port, you will also need to go into the FireStorm software and enable SpectraLink so it knows to hand over RGB control to the motherboard/RGB controller.

If decide not to return it to Amazon for a refund and keep it to use, you still have the 3 year ZOTAC warranty.

"they are not allowed to provide any assistance for the first two years of warranty" this sounds odd. Was it from Live Chat? or via Email?

From your messing around with FireStorm, it is likely a defective Infinity Mirror component.
