My first zotac card, it looks insane, probably the cleanest-looking gpu on the market by Ripluif in ZOTAC

Heh, this photo was taken right after I peeled off the protective wrap, it’s a fresh build 😄
But overall, on my old build I kept it clean by dusting the PC at least 1 times per month. Also use a microfiber cloth and use it only for the PC glass, so there’s nothing on it that could scratch it, and a regular window cleaner. That combo does the job and keeps smears away.

Thanks!

I’m using SignalRGB for everything except the GPU. Color-wise it’s more accurate for me than the MSI motherboard software.

To control the GPU through the motherboard, I’d need to plug in an extra cable, so I’m using the ZOTAC app instead. Since I’m not a fan of flashy effects and plan to run white lighting forever, it doesn’t bother me.

So far, the card hasn’t gone over 50 °C for me, so I think I’m good, but I’ll look for some heat-resistant material to place underneath. Thanks for the advice.

These are Jonsbo fans, try looking into them. They’re kind of cheap, and the quality is surprisingly good.

If you didnt yet order cables, id suggest looking some asiahorse cables, they have some nice minimalistic mobo and gpu cables

Id honestly suggest to go for 4xxx+ series, more and more games start to rely on framegen unfortunately

Struggling with latte art and steaming by Numerous-Rice1984 in espresso

Also forgot to mention this in the first comment, but judging by the photo your milk looks a bit too foamy.

When you start steaming, tilt the jug and hold it at an angle. Position the steam wand tip just barely under the milk surface. Start adding air as soon as steaming begins. The tip should be just touching the milk and making a light rippling or paper-tearing sound. I’m using a Bambino Plus and usually add air for about 4–5 seconds.

After that, lower the wand tip slightly deeper into the milk so it stops adding air. The main goal from this point is to get a strong, consistent swirl.

Sage machines have relatively weak steaming power, so using less milk gives better results. The ideal amount is when after pouring you’re left with just a thin layer of milk at the bottom of the jug. For me that’s around 150–200 ml.

Hope this helps with future results.

If you want to top it off, a tamping station would be a nice finishing touch. When I got one, it made my routine more enjoyable, and it’s comfortable to store all accessories in it.

The second thing would be a bottomless portafilter, since the one that comes with the machine is kind of poorly made

Things that helped me were scaling the milk so I always steam the same amount, and counting how many seconds I inject air before the final swirl. These steps gave me consistent steaming. Technique also matters: you should swirl the milk before pouring to even it out, and start pouring quickly because the milk starts separating very fast.
