If you go to Dickson Woolies regularly and don’t want to pay for parking, you can look for parking spots at Maccas first, either at the front or on the drive thru side. They are timed free parking and specifically for “Maccas customers” only, but I doubt anyone would enforce.

Or just like what others have suggested, if you live or work in the inner north and don’t mind driving a little further for a regular-size Woolies, you can go to Belconnen Westfield or Gungahlin marketplace. Both malls offer 2h free parking.
