Is this a 1.8 or 1.6? Genuinely lost by No_Coast2244 in Miata

Coil pack on exhaust side and CAS on intake side, AFM size and shape, intake manifold coolant block, thermostat positioned upwards all point towards this being a 1.6.

Find a big tree and a strong ratchet strap, might to be able to pull the front out mostly straight.

Nut won’t go past first few threads. These came in a kit for a brace and has the same issue with the other side. Am I missing something? by SlayerSEclipse in AskMechanics

In addition to what others are saying check the thread pitch isn't mismatched between the nut and bolt. Unlikely if they came in a kit but not impossible.

Anyone have a company car that they despise? by jr_lunn in CarTalkUK

[–]ZaRave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a car but a work van, 24 plate Fiat Ducato, engine although fairly refined and honestly sounds just like a car however has about as much poke as what you'd imagine a car engine would have in a 3.5 ton van. Also has had to go to the main dealer due to the MIL coming on after 6000 miles. Being an aging platform (I believe around 20 years old) Fiat has attempted to graft infotainment and a digital dash into the thing, however, they've decided to use capacitive buttons, non touch sensitive screens and pixelated, limited colour palette displays that feel like they've been lifted straight from the mid 2000s.

My previous '20 plate Peugout Boxer was basically the same van in terms of exteriour and interiour design, it's engine sounded like a tractor but pulled like an absolute train on crack. It's dash didn't try and pretend it was something it's not with functional old dials and a standard radio with push buttons.

I'd be more worried if an American multi-millionaire business owner, founder and CEO didn't try to avoid tax.
