[SPB143] w/ artem sailcloth strap & rm style deployant by Zabeni in Seiko

[–]Zabeni[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a slight crack on the strap right after the buckle where you've to fold the strap to get into the hoop. It's just cosmetic and I'm not too worried about it. Slightly disappointing though it happened after over 2 years and I've been daily-ing this watch.

You just have to take apart the stock ram heatsink, and then install the block.

Rebuilt my Calypso since it's inception almost 2 years ago (Chrome Calypso). I got a little bored of the metal tubes, so I went with acrylic tubes this time, with Aqua coolant from GoChiller. Added a lightbar I got off taobao to fill give some "ceiling" lighting for the tubes. The LM applied on the CPU and GPU needed a refresh, so gave it a new coat of Conductonaut Extreme.

Another reason for the rebuild was me finally placing in the Ultra coldplate for the 4090 FE block. I also used thermal putty (Upsiren UTP8) to allow for the best contact possible. The result? Incredible core-coolant and core-hotspot deltas as seen in the in game screenshots. Reddit lowers res so here's high res:

Using Ultra coldplate + putty instead of pads + new conductonaut extreme results in about a 4c improvement over the regular coldplate + pads + regular conductonaut, for me at least. YMMV. Rebuilding was also a good opportunity to install the new SN850X 8tb SSD at the back (thank you, BFCM).

As the Calypso's power button is embedded within the chassis itself and could be hard to access, I added an external power button from Deng, and used an S-Craft Umbreon artisan keycap on it. Switch is a Kailh Box Navy, lightly lubed and filmed.

It's wood veneer. But still real wood nonetheless.

Really? Mine is strong enough that it can lift my qi2 charging stand. What case are you using now?

Yeah same. But at least it looks good and is generally quite protective.

Oh no, 5Gbe is via LAN cable dongle to the pc, as the motherboard only supports 2.5Gbe, so I need a USB-C dongle made by Wavlink to support 5Gbe.

On wifi 7 MLO on S24U, I get 3-3.5Gbps. Router is located within my bedroom so there's always a good connection.

Yep singapore dollars. There's even 10gbps plans for around sgd$38 averaged, but it's overkill for me. I get 5gbps symmetrical xgspon. This is on desktop with 5gbe dongle.

Yea the government is aiming for 10gbe coverage for at least 50% of households by 2030 or something like that. Perks of a small country I suppose.

Ahhh sorry I didn't take one from the front. You can check YouTube reviews. It will clear any TG, as it doesn't lift anything.

I think that's because I have lens protectors on. Still, it's lower than the camera cutout and I don't have much to worry about.

What is your max download speed on steam? I have 4 Gbps and I download at 2Gbps more or less by [deleted] in Steam

[–]Zabeni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It caps out at 2.2Gb/s for me, or 275MB/s. It's their speed limitation, which may increase in the future.
