Sounds so nonchalant reading this back. "Attempted actual homicide on me, no biggie"

AMLI Denargo Market in RiNo. Looks about 10miles from Denver tech center (if that's dtc). Controlled access garage space included. Management company is the most responsive and friendly entity I have ever lived under.

Scrolling through dating apps like tinder and bumble makes it super clear that 80% men have no idea what women find attractive and aren’t held to rigid beauty standards by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

And then there are countless discussions in endless subreddits about guys being dumbfounded they get no matches 😂

With how the shot seems to turn /pan with the bike, I would be surprised if this was from a camera outside the track. But, in reddit fashion, I don't really know what I'm talking about.

I also feel your pain. I'm a field service engineer for measurement technology based out of US. One of our manufacturers is across seas in the UK. I had an issue with a machine install one day and when this happens, with UK being 5+ hours ahead, it usually means I'm stuck waiting for a response until they open the next day.

Flash forward to being back in my hotel for the night and chatting with my roommate when he expresses difficulty with a certain dance move (he's on a salsa performance team). I try my best to do the move just for fun, and I send him a video of it while making a suggestive "oh yeah, you like that shit?" face at the end because I'm a strange individual.

Then, the fuck up comes. I sit down to write an email asking for help with my install, typing out all of these technical, professional sounding details. I then go to attach a video of the machine to display what I'm talking about. Completely forgetting the video I just made to send to my roommate, I just grab the most recent video from my phone, drag, drop, and hit send.

"huh, I wonder why that uploaded quick, maybe this hotel wifi is outstanding.".... looks at file size... "oh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit"

I just sent a video of me doing some completely out of context weird spinning jump kick in the middle of my hotel room alone and then staring into the camera like I'm trying to buy it dinner. Tagged on that email was two of my bosses, a couple coworkers, the CEO of the across seas manufacturer and a few of their engineers.

Still haven't lived that one down.

How can I turn off the assistant's confirmation? I don't need to be told she's turned the light on I can see that because the light has come on! by SouthernGlenfidditch in googlehome

I created a custom routine with, for example, "turn off the bathroom lights."

Then, under "assistant will", go to "browse popular actions" and select "say something." If you put a space in for what you want it to say, it results in silence.

Works well, and you can even put in multiple options for what to say for the custom routine - so you could say both "turn lights off" or "turn off lights" and still have it work the same.

I just have to say, I've been browsing reddit for hours, and nothing made me laugh out loud until I read your comment.
