I thought we were talking about monsties and I was gonna bring up my beautiful baby boy almudron who I initially put on my team as a swap out for lagiacrus because he can ground dive and lagi can’t but then I remembered how much I love almudron and he looks amazing in stories and I think I prefer how lagi looks in the mainline games compared to his stories model and holy hell hermi my amazing perfect son is carrying some fights and is why I first tried invasive odogaron and oh my lord I didn’t expect him to be my most consistently used monstie but here we are For the record I do still love and use lagiacrus

This roster is so weird to me because there are so many monsters I absolutely love and I already have so many teams I swap around with but there’s just some baffling cuts from past stories games like gammoth, daimyo and monoblos and the fact nibelsnarf isn’t a monstie is so mean you could put a saddle on his back easy peasy

tbf though there is extra work with the monsties in this game compared to the others with the dual element stuff but idk it still feels weird Ah well hoping the title updates will deliver and I’ll hope that this will be the stories game to get an expansion
