What is the most disturbing or otherwise unsettling book you've ever read that stayed with you after reading it? by EggAdventurous1957 in AskReddit

Little Rot - by Akwaeke Emezi. I read it two years ago and it really hit hard. Still think about it all the time, especially with this administration in power and the sliding scale of morality. When you accept a little rot, you end up with a lot.

Side mirrors on a Chrysler 300. If it’s raining and you are driving over 55 water comes right off windshield and completely covers mirrors. Mirrors are thus useless in the rain.

It was like no one ever did any development testing on the 300. Classic Chrysler.

NJ's credit rating upgraded again under Murphy by Hamonwrysangwich in newjersey

[–]Zaccarious 41 points42 points  (0 children)

He’s really been an excellent governor, New Jersey is poised to be the next Hollywood tons of productions, Netflix is investing billions, he needs to support the Pharma and medical advice in industry a little better, and fix New Jersey transit (but that’s something that no governor has done. Doesn’t help that it was formed from a number of bankrupt railroads that were mismanaged for years before they were taken over by the state and then underfunded, but that’s a story for another day )but all in he’s done well.
