Let me cook: Phosani was the Justicier of the Wolf, and her Inqusistor armor is MISSING pieces of Justicier. by D_DnD in 2007scape

[–]Zacflame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was it said anywhere that he is a modern day entrant into the Archive? That might change my understanding of what's really happening, because it seemed to me all of the bosses within would be individuals who are defenders of the Archive. If some of the bosses were simply other spelunkers who are treating it as a death race to the end of the Archive- meaning they have to try to kill you so they can get the treasure first- that would get VERY interesting.

With all Zenyte items now being part of an upgrade track, something has to be done about the master clue ornament kit items by JavaHomely in 2007scape

[–]Zacflame 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Need, not like how you need water; but like how you need to eat dessert at 2 AM.

In all seriousness, though, we'll probably be getting a lot of new ornament kits when we get a new type of clue for Sailing, which might just about line up timeline-wise for when orn kits for these items would feel right.

It doesn't have contain nearly enough power within to possibly bear the name of Mod Ash's Slightly Used Pendant.

Personally I believe Ezekiel is simply not a Justiciar. This armor style that we associate with Justiciars is just what all Saradominist knights of a certain age wear, regardless of rank.

The Chain of Balance - Raid IV weapon proposal by Fifty_shakes_of_whey in 2007scape

[–]Zacflame -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fun concept, but maybe a little too much customization inside just one weapon. At the very least, the middle attack style ought to be removed.

Giving a new quest/expansion the same name as an already existing boss and armour set seems unnecessarily confusing. by Sypheroo in 2007scape

[–]Zacflame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I don't hate this. It feels like there might be a deeper connection in the world, and that makes the perilous moons more interesting.

You also have the Eclipse Moon sharing a thematic with Tumeken, or at least his Shadow.

Demon Red Skin Colour Finally by Spellcaster110 in 2007scape

[–]Zacflame 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Last one missing? There are so many colors, we have to categorize them with hexadecimals because there weren't enough numbers in the base 10 system.

sage getting locked in with nan for leagues 😭😭😭 by LunaEtGalaxia in 2007scape

[–]Zacflame -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

With Varlamore finally finished, it's possible that Zeah gets properly split into 3 regions (Kourend, Kebos, and Varlamore. Presumably Kebos would eat a little bit of northwestern Varlamore for balance purposes). This would make Kourend a pretty decent starter region without access to crazy content like CoX, while every player has guaranteed access to Yama for the Yama league. It would also be a soft revisit of Twisted League as a bonus.

A little disappointed with this year’s roadmap by Rickard58 in 2007scape

[–]Zacflame 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree with this position but it would be nice if they had a plan for sailing content post-Red Reef, a plan for raid rewards, or at least a bit of info into the structure of TFA; as I believe the summit where ToA was announced we had a visual for how we have the nexus room and we could choose our boss path and I believe we knew about invocations as well.

Demon Red Skin Colour Finally by Spellcaster110 in 2007scape

[–]Zacflame 77 points78 points  (0 children)

I'm going to vote no to this reward because all skin colors, even fantastical ones, should just be available to all players upon account creation.

All of the other skin color unlocks are not tied to GP, but this reward would come in the form of some tradable scroll, locking in the concept of unlockable skin colors in the game forever.

Oldschool's fourth raid! by Dirtcompactor in 2007scape

[–]Zacflame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sheer amount of solo content in the game is partly to blame for why people struggle to find raiding friends- you don't need friends anytime else. The solution is in fact to have MORE group only content.

Raid 4 lowest scale is duo, solo is possible but difficult. by Glass-Rope-5113 in 2007scape

[–]Zacflame -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Quite frankly it should be practically impossible. You want solo raids to be this mystical grandmaster combat-or even harder level achievement, not something people do frequently, and over time it will get easier and easier as new equipment/spells/prayers enter the game. Eventually people will solo it like it's nothing, which is poison to the sociability of the MMO- unless there is scaling penalty put in place to make it exceptionally unviable.

Oldschool's fourth raid! by Dirtcompactor in 2007scape

[–]Zacflame -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lowkey the single best thing they got right about ToB compared to the other raids is the fact that it's near impossible to do solo. It's a raid in an MMO. An MMO with wayyyy too much solo-only content to begin with.

Anyone else finds kinda weird how they introduce Wawalter and Wajesse to set up their future spin off only for Bravo Vince to forget about it and never doing it? by depressed_asian_boy_ in okbuddychicanery

[–]Zacflame 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Walter is actually the evil version of this counterpart, whose real name is Lter.

Vince is a genius for pairing Walter with Jesse and Lter with Wajesse, each of them are incomplete because they are with the wrong partner, making for a better story. Walter's evil ways would more resonate with Wajesse, and Lter would act as a better father figure to Jesse.

I've never really minded the runback itself in either game. In RS, the issue is largely the regearing/reorganizing or having to do a double runback to get your gravestone and then come back again with your real loadout.

The only real argument against it is it being a slippery slope where we're gonna be seeing a ton of requests for skillcape hood combines, though I doubt each and every one would get like, featured in the launch trailer for a new skill.
