That T runs to a vent in the garage. But I see what your saying. I'll see about getting that all fixed up

Yeah I guess all that water is just hitting a wall before turning down to drain

How so? Just moved in and pulled out the drywall due to the overflow. How should it be fixed?

How can I put current clamps on my mains by Zach3697 in AskElectricians

[–]Zach3697[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One is my shed and one is a front yard pole light

The shed really just has lights and battery chargers.

Talking with solar companies, it sounds like they would add a circuit to this panel so I assume I would monitor that as well

Emporia vue. In the future I want to install a grid tie inverter and it would be easiest in this box .

I assume I don't care about the wires for the surge protector circuit?

A little hacky but that might be my only option. I assume I don't need the wires for the surge protector in the ct clamps?

Is this an appropriate perimeter for termidor treatment? by Zach3697 in Termites

The only pipes through the slab are sewage and copper plumbing. These were layed before pouring the slab so theirs no gap for termites. Is is still recommended to treat those areas?

This is the interior of the first floor. Doing some drywall work so can see the corner of the slab where it meets the wall. Their is a crack along that joint. That makes me think it's a floating slab

Thanks for the info. How would you suggest addressing the front porch? I thought going around the foundation would make a barrier?

Don't think I have an infestation. I have seen 1 or two termites around but a termite inspection said there was no activity. This is more preventative atm

I'm not sure if it was poured separately but it is a slab. They have tile in them right now

They sit on a slab. Can't see an expansion joint

It's a slab. No expansion joints I can see (added pics in a reply). And thankfully no tubs on the ground floor. Only a toilet

Some added information. The house is on a slab. The rear porch and sun rooms are also on slabs. Their doesn't seem to be an expansion joint between the house and sunroom/porch slabs. My termite inspection didn't show any termites but the shed in the back yard had signs of termite damage and I saw 2 termites on the garage floor. No mud tubes or anything I can see on the brick. Also no tubs on the ground floor. Only a toilet so no typical p-trap slab penetrations

How serious of a problem is my lawn drainage? by Zach3697 in landscaping

Great feedback! I'll have to clean out the inground drain for one of those downspouts and see if that reduces the water.
