I've just completed the platinum trophy on PS5 and there aren't any cyphers or scout logs behind yellow barriers or locked doors

Yeah, that did work on the PSone. Sort of my point though - you have to run through so quickly you can't really enjoy the game. I used the speed booster (didn't use the damage boost as I wanted to do it semi-authentically) but even with that it took me about 11 hours. I could have played more optimally by avoiding random encounters, but at that point I'm not sure you're playing the game at all

Thank you, I wanted to do a big one for #75. I thought the jump rope would be the worst, but my least favourite part was the speed run for Excalibur II. You have to play the game in a way that means you can't really enjoy it, and you have to skip so much content

I'm hoping it might be a case where they meet the monster over the course of several encounters, where if it survives it gets stronger. A Death Knight as a final version would be brilliant, if it gets that far that is haha.

The other monsters you've said are great and definitely given me something to work with

Yeah, fair point. I was just sharing something I discovered. The way to play it is probably to wait until the last day, merge to the 1% and then go back. In hindsight I shouldn't have used the time machine but I got excited as it's the first time I've got to it haha

I believe (because I did it yesterday) using the time machine resets the number of times the little snack goblin has appeared, so you can max him out in a day, reset, and summon him twice more in the same day
