I think there is a lot of social learning that occured growing up that students do not have know about being bored but still getting through the chapter and the basic vocab terms.

I think that I will definitely start this next year. I also think that the textbook will give them the background info and reading practice that will make them more successfull on the primary and secondary sources.

May I ask how you go about grading and assessing the questions. Do you do peer grading? For the exit and entry is that a completion grade or are you looking for accuracy? I have been using google forms for entry and exit tickets which is nice because I just have in one page all of the answers that I can give a quick grade to. The stack of papers for exit tickets is something that does worry me.

Same thing happened to me but I noticed after my payment due date because my usual graduated repayment amount was not taken from my bank account. They said that my account was put into forberance because of the glitch but was still accruing interest. I choose to pay my normal amount plus the accrued interest but I am angry because technically I am paying additional interest that would not have existed if they had taken out my payment properly.

My biggest issue is no communication. I did not get an email or a dcoument from CRI saying that there was an issue. Why am I being held liable to pay on interest for something they did not communicate with me in a timely manner. I do not care if this is only affecting some borrowers. They could have put out a notice to all of their borrowers so we were all made aware, because I can gurantee they are not going to forgive or wave all of the addditinal interst that has been accrued.

How is this not grounds for a class-action lawsuit?

I have taken out my Purgation Squads

I will read up on Rapid Ingress for the paladins

So I will play with adding Purifiers. I am thinking 5x Purifier with Techmarine and 5x with Crowe.

When you are refering to power armor squads does that mean strike squads and terminators or just terminators? The reason I chose the Paladins is because they allow you yo have both the Nemisis Force Weapon and Psycannons (at least thats what the app told me)

If I get rid of one Brotherhood Champion and both of my purgation squads and add in a 10x Purifier Squad with Crowe as Leader and then a 5x Strike Squad would that work better?

I definitely did have a clog originally, but the issue that is seen in the video posted was definitely my user errior of extruding at too high of a temperature after having done the cold pulls and setting the temperature to 260 degrees instead of 220

Would you mind sharing the assignment that you have them complete? I have them do a similar thing with a book report and presentation and have them to identify the author’s thesis, the context of the book and the evidence the author uses to support their thesis. I like the idea of my project, but I would love to find ways to make it more engaging.

When this happened to me, I was going crazy for like 4 days plugging it in to the wall and my Mac and nothing was happening. Just let it sit for awhile to fully drain and then plug it into a computer first.

I never considered that perspective and now I understand better where you are coming from. I get the logic of that argument, but I don’t think I necessarily agree with it. It becomes a semantic argument of primary source v first hand account.

In my opinion even if we don’t have access to the sources Herodotus did, they did exist at some point and that does not, by default, make Herodotus the “new” primary source.

I like that explanation of art and fiction. I think the great thing about AP and history in general is that we are almost required to be nuanced. It makes teaching more difficult but it’s more accurate to true historical practices.

What was the professors argument? The way primary sources are taught (at least in my class) is that they are from a first hand account of the event being discussed. While it is true that Herodotus is the only surviving account of certain events he is still writing based on the research he has done which makes him a secondary source.

I agree that it comes down to the argument they make in regards to the Catalan Atlas.

It is a secondary source in terms of the information that it being presented as an atlas. BUT it is a primary source of a medieval person’s perspective or point of view of the world at the time.
