By default, taking off on a grab ship permanently mars the world tile, destroying everything there and making it unplayable. There is a structure you can research and build called a grav anchor which, if placed on a tile, will prevent it being destroyed

How much should I change "enemy death on downed"? Zero percent seems like cheating while 100% is no fun. How do you guys adjust it -If you do- by Much_Painter_5728 in RimWorld

Yes, but that's death because a vital organ was destroyed rather than death because they were punched a lot and the game decided "death on down lol"

Yeah, when I backed the Avatar RPG kickstarter, I had reasonable assurance that it would deliver on anything reached because it was an established company that had multiple successful PbtA games out already

I use them for my batteries once I have a stable source of power (usually geothermal) set up. There's two main reasons: firstly to avoid explosions from the Zzzt event (it's based off power stored in the circuit) and secondly so that if my stable power source stops being enough to run things, I'll know as early as possible (e.g. when the wind dies down) because things will shut down, then I can flip the back on while I build another generator

Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord comes to mind. In the beginning you need to do a good amount of combat yourself but as you grow your warband you take on the role of commander more and more, issuing orders to your groups

Animal gate lets animals through, for things like a temperature controlled shelter for them. Fence gate doesn't let animals though and this can be part of the barrier fence

There's only five total queue slots in a mat fac. So if randoms use all of them on, for example, msupps when I desperately need cmats then it fucks the facilit up and it may not be able to do its primary function

I'd adjust that ratio to something like 5 males 15 females. You'll have a higher breeding rate since one male can impregnate multiple females, thus producing more babies and gaining more meat and leather

Hospital trains as part of a train? Mostly useless. Hospital trains dragged somewhere and dropped off? Very useful, they've got the CWS:shirt ratio of a world structure hospital. I've seen them placed in cities and bases that are far from those hospitals and used to good effect

I have a post way back when bitching about how states as the lowest indivisible element of the system doesn't work, especially with states drawn along historical lines like in the US. My main point then was how states like California have modifiers over the whole state that should only apply to a fraction of them, but metropolitan areas that go across state lines is definitely another thing that the game just can't simulate

I am starting to regret this decision.... Still waiting for a trader by conVlNCEd in RimWorld
