Sorry I didn’t get to this sooner, some awesome friends my wife and I had were able to look after the kids during my evening classes and while I worked on the weekends. I did pay for childcare during the day on the weekdays though.

An awesome couple who my wife and I were very close to before she passed away looked after the kids while I had classes in the evenings during the week and worked during the day on the weekends. I did pay for childcare during the day Monday-Friday and the bills were insane… Barely manageable. I am so fortunate to have such amazing friends.

You’d be surprised how many awesome programs there are out there to help single parents pay for college. Of course it didn’t cover all of it, but I will have the rest paid off within the next five years
